Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have any questions?

What is a quartz resonator?

Quartz Resonators(QR), widely recognized for providing precise time standards in wristwatches, possess exceptional resonance characteristics.

By leveraging high measurement sensitivity, superior resolution, ultra-low oscillation amplitudes, and non-contact capabilities, QRs ensure stable operation even in ambient air environments.

The inherent piezoelectric properties of the QR allow for the design of highly compact AFM systems.
Furthermore, the high stiffness of the QR facilitates an exceptionally stable non-contact mode, maintaining consistent performance across a diverse range of sample types.

This is particularly advantageous for semiconductor metrology and inspection, as it prevents non-solid residues from adhering to the tip, thereby ensuring clean and precise measurements.

What is a viscosity meter?

A viscosity meter is a device that measures the flow resistance (viscosity) of a fluid, and there are various types, such as capillary viscometers, rotational viscometers, and ball drop viscometers.

It is mainly used for quality control and research by quantitatively evaluating the viscosity of liquids.

What is a viscoelasticity measurement device?

This is a device that simultaneously evaluates both the viscosity (resistance to flow) and elasticity (property to return to original shape after deformation) of a material, and is mainly measured using a rheometer or dynamic mechanical analyzer.

Viscoelasticity occurs when a fluid or solid has both viscous and elastic properties, and is important in the study of complex deformation behavior.
